The Indiana Toll Road, runs East-West three miles (5 km) South of the village.

Then SR 49 leaves Valparaiso heading north toward Chesterton having an interchange with U.S. Route 6, Interstate 80/Interstate 90/Indiana Toll Road, Interstate 94, U.S. Route 20, and U.S. Route 12.
In March 2006, Daniels signed a bill known as "Major Moves" that leased the Indiana East–West Toll Road, but also included a compromise on constructing I-69 in southwest Indiana.
Roseland is located at the Notre Dame/South Bend exit of the Indiana Toll Road (Interstate 80/90), making it a good location for many restaurants, hotels and gasoline stations.
