The leading role in the movie Chekavar, played by Indrajith (Ksahinathan Ilayath) is a practicing Ilayath Brahmin.
It stars ten lead actors, appearing as five couples; the characters are played by Kunchacko Boban and Nithya Menen, Jayasurya and Meghana Raj, Indrajith and Padmapriya, Shankar Ramakrishnan and Mythili, and Siddique and Ann Augustine.
Sonarika will make a debut in films through a Tamil film, Indrajith in 2014 opposite Gautham Karthik.
