Lake Hodges Bridge

It was widened and replaced in 2006-2009 as part of a project to add managed lanes in the I-15 corridor.

That bridge was subsequently replaced in 1981, when I-15 was built to supersede US 395.

The Lake Hodges Bridge is a component of Interstate 15 that spans Lake Hodges, just south of Escondido, California.

It is found on limestone desert pavements and in sandy washes, and can be found in large numbers around Death Valley National Park and the Mojave National Preserve south of Interstate 15.

The world's tallest thermometer is located adjacent to a Bob's Big Boy restaurant and is visible along Interstate 15 in Southern California's Mojave Desert at 72155 Baker Boulevard in Baker.
