In addition to Barrio Fino, Luny Tunes also contributed productions to acclaimed albums by Don Omar (The Last Don, 2003) and Tego Calderón (El Abayarde, 2003), as well as albums by Eddie Dee (Los 12 Discípulos, 2004), Ivy Queen (Diva, 2004), Zion & Lennox (Motivando a la Yal, 2004), Nicky Jam (Vida Escante, 2004), and Trebol Clan (Los Bacatranes, 2004) — all of this within a two-year span.
The genre has had a revival recently, as evident by the emergence of many plena bands (such as Plena Libre, Atabal , and Viento de agua) and its use in various songs, such as Ricky Martin's recent song "Pégate" and Ivy Queen's "Vamos A Celebrar".
He has worked with some of Latin music's most popular artists including Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, Tito Nieves, Víctor Manuelle, Frankie Negrón, Johnny Rivera, Ray Sepúlveda, Tito Puente, DLG, Orquesta de la Luz, Ivy Queen, Celia Cruz, La India, Jerry Rivera, Bacilos, among others.
The album spawned a total of six singles: "Quiero Bailar", "Quiero Saber", "Papi Te Quiero", "Guillaera", "Tuya Soy" and "Tu No Puedes", three of which are featured on The Best of Ivy Queen.
In 1999, Ivy Queen released her second studio album for the Sony label The Original Rude Girl which carried the hit songs "In The Zone", "Que Sabes Tu", and "The King and Queen".
Ivy Queen performed the song on a live edition of the Puerto Rican television program Sábado Gigante.
