"You Could Be Mine" is said to be based on Izzy Stradlin's failed relationship with Angela Nicoletti after they broke up as A Couple.
He was a member of 1970s punk band The Plugz (which became a popular roots band in the 1980s), Cruzados, Havalinas, Izzy Stradlin & the Ju Ju Hounds, and has toured and/or recorded with Joan Osborne, John Doe, Cracker, Bob Dylan, Jimmy and the Mustangs, 47C and many others.
They recorded their debut album Anxious Disease which featured notable guests such as Guns N' Roses members Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradlin and Duff McKagan as well as guitarist Steve Stevens.
