The Tank has become one of the most highly-coveted and copied wristwatches of all time, and has graced the wrists of such style icons such as Jackie Kennedy, Princess Diana, Michelle Obama and Yves Saint Laurent, amongst countless others.
It was regularly used by the British satirical magazine Private Eye, most notably on the cover of issue 180 in November 1968 which showed a photograph from the wedding of the former Jackie Kennedy in which the bride was apparently saying: "You are Aristotle Onassis and I claim my five million pounds"
Even in the assassination scene, Cuadra seems to emulate many of the same actions from Jackie Kennedy's last moments with John F. Kennedy in Dallas in 1963.
