James Scott, Earl of Dalkeith

On 2 January 1693/94 he married Lady Henrietta Hyde (born in Hindon, Wiltshire, c. 1677, died 30 May 1730), daughter of Laurence Hyde, 1st Earl of Rochester and Henrietta Hyde, Countess of Rochester.

Sir Bourchier Wrey, 4th Baronet

Sir Bourchier Wrey, 4th Baronet (1653-1696), was a duellist, Member of Parliament, and commanded a regiment of horse after the Restoration, serving under the Duke of Monmouth.


Anne Scott, 1st Duchess of Buccleuch

On 20 April 1663, she married, James Scott, 1st Duke of Monmouth (the illegitimate son of Charles II by his mistress, Lucy Walter) and she and her husband were created Duke and Duchess of Buccleuch on that day.
