Quader, presidium member of Jatiya Party (JP), held different important posts in several important ministries and organisations including Ministry of Establishment, Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation, Jamuna Oil Company and Bangladesh Tobacco Company Ltd.
Shortly before Danesh's death in 1986, the party merged into the ruling Jatiya Party of the then-Bangladeshi President Gen. Hussain Muhammad Ershad.
