He was an early touring member of the seminal Jesus music band Love Song, writing their tune "Changes" which appeared on that band's debut LP Love Song.
It and its title song were nominated for a Gospel Music Association (GMA) Dove Award, and claimed an astounding seven airplay hits for the Jesus music stars.

The 2011 festival featured a Jesus Rally showcasing many of the groundbreaking Jesus music artists including; Servant, Daniel Amos, Randy Stonehill, Barry McGuire, Resurrection Band, Phil Keaggy, and Classic Petra.
