James William Ward (b. September 1, 1906 in Fort William, Ontario - d. November 15, 1990 in Portland, Oregon) was a right winger in the NHL from 1928 - 1939.

The son of former National Hockey League forward Jimmy Ward, Pete attended Jefferson High School in Portland, Oregon and played college baseball at Portland's Lewis & Clark College.
