A. S. Adke

Appa Saheb Adke was an Indian educator and administrator, nominated as the vice-chancellor of Karnatak University in Dharwad, India, after the tenure of Dr. D. C. Pavate ended in 1967.

H. P. Gandhi

Gandhi joined as an assistant lecturer at Karnatak University (earlier known as Karnatak College), Dharwar in July 1949 and very soon he was transferred unceremoniously to M N College, Visnagar in Gujarat (August 1949), then to I Y College, Bombay (November 1949), and after another short time period he joined Rajaram College, Kolhapur after which he finally returned to Karnatak College (June 1951).

Panduranga Hegde

Panduranga Hegde was born in 1956 in Uttara Kannada District, Karnataka and studied Bachelors degree at Karnatak University.

U. Narayan Bhat

He received a B.A. in mathematics (1953) and B.T. in education (1954) from the University of Madras, an M.A. in statistics (1958) from Karnatak University in Dharwar and Ph.D. in Mathematical statistics from the University of Western Australia on the dissertation Some Simple and Bulk Queueing Systems: A Study of Their Transient Behavior (1965).


Sangamesh Saundattimath

He has served as a professor of Kannada at Karnatak University Dharwad, Gulbarga University for over 33 years and after retirement, he was selected as Emeritus Professor by U.G.C. He was holding number of Administrative Positions at the time of his service such as Dean Faculty of Arts, Chairman - Institute of Kannada studies (Gulbarga University), Student welfare Officer (Gulbarga University), Special Officer (P.G.Centre, Raichur) etc.
