Phase 2B is designed by renowned ‘green’ architect, Dr Ken Yeang, as a sustainable, multi-tenanted development.
After completion, architect Ken Yeang's long research into bio-climatic design principles was recognized with the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 1995 for the design.
SGFA 's purpose built space, Gallery Residence (also the "Ganendra Art House"), was designed by architectural luminary, Ken Yeang.
His use of solar shading, wide overhangs, and communal gardens and external balconies has some similarities with the ideas advanced by Ken Yeang for the bioclimatic skyscraper.
