Centro Educativo Pavarotti (Pavarotti Education Center) is a junior high school for children aged 12–17 located near Lake Atitlán in San Lucas Tolimán, Guatemala.
After a year of traveling through Guatemala, he found his home in a small village near Lake Atitlan inhabited by the Tz'utujil (one of the numerous Maya sub-cultures).
The decline of the Atitlán Grebe began in 1958 and again in 1960 after Smallmouth bass (Micropterus dolomieu) and Largemouth bass (Micropterus salmoides) were introduced into Lake Atitlán.
