On August 29, the coach of the Greek National team announced the convening of Dimitrios Papadopoulos after six years for the match against Liechtenstein in Vaduz at the Rheinpark Stadion stadium valid for the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification, coming in at 84 minutes of the second half replacing of Lazaros Christodoulopoulos.

Ernestas Šetkus

On 3 June, Šetkus made his first Lithuania start in their 2–0 loss in Vaduz against Liechtenstein in a Euro 2012 qualifying game.

Florin Răducioiu

An even greater success for Florin would come three months later when in Toftir, he managed to score all four of Romania's goals against the Faroe Islands, becoming the first Romanian player to score four goals for the national team in modern times, a record equaled only by Gheorghe Popescu in 1997 against Liechstenstein.

He made his international debut for Liechtenstein on 13 October 2012 against Lithuania, coming on as a substitute for Philippe Erne.

Trevor Wood

Wood earned a Northern Ireland cap on 11 October 1995, coming on for Alan Fettis at half-time in a 4–0 win over Liechtenstein at the Sportpark Eschen-Mauren in a qualifying game for UEFA Euro 1996.
