The Greek authors in the series can be recognized by a yellow cover on which Athena's Little Owl can be seen, the Latin ones by a red one where one finds a she-wolf reminiscent of the Capitoline Wolf.

However, they evolved to a form more like an Otus little owl, and in accord with a general trend seen in insular owls, their feet were proportionally elongated and they were able to live a more terrestrial lifestyle.
