The inaugural award went to former Prime Minister, Paul Keating for his description of supporters of Lord Mayor of Sydney Clover Moore as "sandal-wearing, muesli-chewing, bike-riding pedestrians".
This trip to Europe inspired and informed three separate solo exhibitions in 2005 – ‘Postcards’, ‘Icon’ and ‘Beyond These Shores’, the last of which was officially opened by the Lord Mayor of Sydney, Clover Moore MP.
On 27 June 2011, the Lord Mayor of Sydney, Clover Moore proposed new directions for lower Oxford Street, and on 22 August 2011 Council resolved to undertake a number of short, medium and long term initiatives to activate City owned properties in the precinct.
