In 1998 the duo began working with Mack 10 and inked a deal with Virgin Records, who placed the Road Dawgs in its sublabel Noo Trybe.

Signed to independent label, Black Cloud Music, King is also known for his productions credits with artists such as Murs Noa James, Top Dawg Entertainment recording artist Ab-Soul, Glasses Malone, Mack 10 and more.
He produced and directed the independent film Thicker Than Water with Ice Cube, Fat Joe and Mack 10 and most recently produced another independent film, “Playas Ball,” financed by NBA player Dale Davis of the Golden State Warriors.
They then signed a deal with Mack 10's Hoo-Bangin' Records in the late 90s and issued their only album in 1999 entitled Don't Be Saprize.
Westside Connection began performing together in 1994, appearing on Mack 10's self-titled debut album, Mack 10, on the song "Westside Slaughterhouse".
After their impressive work on Bow Down, Allfrumtha I was signed by Mack 10 to his then-fledgling Hoo-Bangin' Records, and in 1998 released its self-titled debut album.
