Annual growth cycle of grapevines

This is a potential viticultural hazard in places like the Margaret River region of Western Australia where warm currents from the Indian Ocean can coax Chardonnay vines to prematurely bud in the mid-winter month of July.

Hobart Brown

During northern hemisphere winters until 2006, Hobart migrated to Australia, where he was first artist-in-residence at Happ's Winery, later at Leeuwin Wine Estates in Margaret River, Western Australia where his public welding studio on their patio and display of his art in the winery itself were popular stops on the hourly tours.

St Mary's Anglican Girls' School

In 2005, the St Mary’s Anglican Girls’ School Foundation purchased 100 acres of land in the Margaret River Wine Region.

Western Lewin's Rail
