During 2006 and 2007 Lewis was a daily contributor to Mike Read's morning show on Big L (Radio London International) radio station, where he was known as 'Lord Tosh' or 'Lord Top Notch of Tosh'.
Many programmes from the ITV companies' archives appeared on the schedules of the new channel, such as Please, Sir!, Dickens of London, The Rag Trade, Within These Walls and Hadleigh, which in time were accompanied by some limited self-made programming, such as the music show Cable Countdown hosted by BBC Radio 1 DJ Mike Read.
Other DJs who have hosted the breakfast show for more than five years are Mike Read, Simon Mayo and Chris Moyles.

A lot of publicity surrounded the project with reports that veteran presenters such as Emperor Rosko, Mike Read, Barry "Berlingo" Mung, "Ugli" Ray Teret and Mick Luvzit (both heard on Radio Caroline North in the 1960s), and at least one Manx Radio personality would be on the station from launch.
It was first launched on 1 February 2009 and initially included high-profile radio DJs such as David Hamilton, Paul Burnett, Mike Read and Howard Pearce among others.
