Ratu Talemo Ratakele is a former Fijian politician, who served as Minister for Internal Affairs and Immigration in the interim Cabinet formed by Laisenia Qarase in the wake of the Fiji coup of 2000.
Highet was appointed to the Cabinet by Prime Minister John Marshall in 1971, becoming Minister for Internal Affairs, Minister of Local Government and associate Minister for Health and Social Welfare.
On 12 August 2010, Otar Khetsia was dismissed as Minister for Internal Affairs of Abkhazia and subsequently (on 18 August) appointed Secretary of the State Security Council.
