The camp is a state game refuge with resources managed cooperatively by the Department of Military Affairs and Department of Natural Resources.
Today, the line has mostly been abandoned, but its former right-of-way now hosts the Luce Line State Trail operated by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
