The Myricks have three children, Bellinda Myrick, former Miss Texas and Miss West Texas, singer/actress/and author, Martin C. Myrick, a Ph.D. and author, and Billy R. Myrick (born 1958), a former police chief and the purchasing agent at the fire department in Murphy, Texas.

Miss Texas USA 2004, was held at the Lubbock Municipal Auditorium on July 28, 2003, at the end of tonight's competition Stephanie Guerrero of Houston who was crowned by outgoing queen Nicole O'Brian.
