Henrik Bull

Among his works are the Paulus Church at Grünerløkka in Oslo, the National Theater, the Historical Museum in Oslo, and the Government Building.

One of his works, an exclusive dining room set, is located at the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History at Bygdøy.

Malaysian batik

According to the Museum of Cultural History of Oslo, it is known for certain that the Javanese influenced Malay batik-making technically as well as in the development of designs.

Oluf Rygh

He was director of Oldsaksamlingen (which subsequently became the Museum of Cultural History) from 1862 and professor of Nordic archeaology from 1875 – the first professor of archaeology at any Scandinavian university.
