On the weekends the station hosts music and other forms of culture (such as literature) from a greater variety of ethnicities, currently including Chinese, Afghani, Polish and music of black origin.
Mark Slobin is an American scholar and ethnomusicologist who has written extensively on the subject of East European Jewish music and klezmer music, as well as the music of Afghanistan, where he conducted research beginning in 1967.
Vahid gets his motivation for the music of Afghanistan from the earlier legend Ahmad Zahir, Farhad Darya and Amir Jan Sabori who have employed energy, emotions, creativity and professionalism to represent their art and their country.
