1951 Yugoslav Second League

The four clubs promoted directly to the second level were Dinamo Pančevo, Radnički Belgrade, Velež and NK Zagreb, while Bokelj, Proleter Zrenjanin, Rabotnički, Rudar Trbovlje and Tekstilac achieved this through qualifications.

1958–59 Yugoslav First League

Due to the reduction of the league from 14 to 12 clubs, at the end of the previous season four clubs were relegated (RNK Split, Spartak Subotica, OFK Belgrade and NK Zagreb) and were replaced by two teams - NK Rijeka and FK Sarajevo.

Emir Spahić

Over the course of his career, Spahić played for NK Čelik Zenica in Bosnian Premier League, Russian clubs Torpedo Moscow, Shinnik Yaroslavl and Lokomotiv Moscow as well as Croatian sides NK GOŠK Dubrovnik and NK Zagreb, Montpellier, as well as Spanish side Sevilla FC.

Želimir Terkeš

Terkeš started his career in the youth ranks of his hometown club HNK Čapljina before moving the youth ranks of the Croatian club NK Zagreb.
