Maria Mitrosz consistently works with the National Philharmonic Orchestra, with the choir of the Catholic-Theological Academy in Warsaw and with the Stanisław Moniuszko Concert Orchestra of the Polish Army with which she has already produced a CD and performed the famous 1848 opera Halka alternating with fellow Polish soprano Ewa.
A longer and more elaborate version was recorded for the film which runs for a little more than four minutes and includes the National Philharmonic Orchestra, the Pontarddulais Male Choir and Waters singing the lyrics melodically, rather than reciting them as on the album version.
For Decca he also recorded Verdi's Luisa Miller with the National Philharmonic Orchestra in June 1975 and Paer's Leonora with the Bavarian Symphony Orchestra (likely the Bavarian State Orchestra) in June and July 1978.
