He studied law in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens(1895–1898),earning his doctorate in 1899 and a licence in 1901.

Their daughter, Zoi Melina holds a Bachelors degree from the School of Economics and Business of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Master's degree from Yale University .
It was established in 2008, it is a member of ESN Greece and ESN International and its members are students of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens that have participated in the Erasmus program and they want to voluntarily contribute in the quick adjustment of their foreign fellow students both in the University and the Greek Society.
It opened on 28 January 2000, and is adjacent to the National Library of Greece, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the Academy of Athens.
