1963 in Luxembourg

30 October – The national football team shocks the Netherlands by winning 2-1 in the second qualifying round for the 1964 European Nations' Cup, progressing 3-2 on aggregate.

1972–73 in Belgian football

Belgium continued their qualifying campaign for the 1974 FIFA World Cup with a win over Norway and a draw against the Netherlands.

Asociación Deportiva Berazategui

The orange colour that identifies the club was inspired by the Netherlands national football team which was a sensation during the 1974 FIFA World Cup.

Les Afful

He made a successful start to his career with Forest Green and in November 2006 was called up to the England National Game XI squad for the European Trophy decider against Holland.

It played host to three tournament matches of which two were group stage games and the other match was a quarter-final game between the Netherlands and Sweden.

Adrianus Ambrosius Cornelis van Kraaij (born August 1, 1953 in Eindhoven, Noord-Brabant), commonly known as Adrie van Kraay, is a retired football central defender from the Netherlands, who represented his native country at the 1978 FIFA World Cup in Argentina, wearing the number four jersey.
