2006 TNA World X Cup Tournament

In October 2005, TNA website manager Bill Banks announced that, as a result of the working relationship between TNA and the Japanese New Japan Pro Wrestling promotion, TNA were considering hosting a second World X Cup, this time featuring members of the NJPW roster.

Blood Stain Child

The first song was used as the theme song for professional wrestler, Kensuke Sasaki and the second song was used as the theme song for the 30th anniversary of New Japan Pro Wrestling, a professional wrestling group.

Hartley Jackson

In 2005, Hartley Jackson made his first trip to the USA which was sponsored by Rick Sanders, a founder of EPW in Perth, and took Mikey Nicholls with him Hartley and Mikey lived and trained at the NJPW Dojo located in Los Angeles, California where they trained pro wresting with Kendo Kashin, Rocky Romero, Antonio Inoki and Terry Taylor and also trained in MMA which was coached by UFC referee Herb Dean.

Negro Navarro

Their popularity as a trio also led to them being invited to tour Japan, facing off against New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) lightweight wrestlers such as Gran Hamada, Tiger Mask, George Takano, Akira Maeda, and Osamu Kido.

Robbie Brookside

He was a regular tag partner of Steve Regal in the United Kingdom and he has competed in the New Japan Pro Wrestling's annual tournament, the Super J in 1997 where he picked up a victory over Chris Jericho.

Steve Veidor

Between the months of February and March 1975, Veidor toured New Japan Pro Wrestling, taking on such Japanese professional wrestling legends Antonio Inoki, Seiji Sakaguchi and Strong Kobayashi.

WCW International World Heavyweight Championship

Rude lost the WCW International title to Hiroshi Hase in a match by New Japan Pro Wrestling in early 1994, but won the belt back the following week.
