Alexander Kanoldt (29 September 1881 – 24 January 1939) was a German magic realist painter and one of the artists of the New Objectivity.
The museum's visual art collection includes works by the Berlin Secession (Max Liebermann and Lovis Corinth), New Objectivity and Expressionism (Otto Dix, George Grosz and Hannah Höch), as well as Georg Baselitz, Wolf Vostell, and the Junge Wilde.
Heinrich Hoerle (September 1, 1895 – July 7, 1936) was a German constructivist artist of the New Objectivity movement.
Grschebina immigrated to Palestine from Germany in 1934, a trained professional profoundly influenced by the revolutionary movements of the Weimer Republic: New Objectivity in painting and New Vision in photography as well as a number of prominent professors, including Karl Hubbuch and Wilhelm Schnarrenberger.
