Some of her US students achieved such recognition as national and world-wide awards for composition, performances on local television and radio, acceptances to The Juilliard School and the graduate division of Indiana University, the College-Conservatory of Music of the University of Cincinnati and subsequent faculty positions in colleges, universities and the New World School of the Arts.
In 1993, Balint Vazsonyi became Dean of Music at the New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida but was forced to resign on September 1994, after adding his Classical Liberal views on politics to his students.

He entered Southwood Middle School, a school known for its fine arts program and went on to New World School of the Arts.
In 1991 he was invited by John de Lancie, former principal oboist of the Philadelphia Orchestra, to join the faculty at the recently formed New World School of the Arts in Miami (Florida), and there he led the Orchestral Department and taught orchestration for the following three years.
