In 2010, the theme was the story of two kids lost in the museum at night among the exposition coming to life and showing pieces of history (based on the movie Night at the Museum).
This year, the museum has introduced a Night at the Museum scavenger hunt through the museum after dark, preceding a showing of the movie.

The Omni shows documentaries daily, as well as showing feature length films including Star Trek, The Hobbit, Skyfall, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, Night at the Museum, and Polar Express, among others.
The park will be 25 acres in size and will feature roughly 25 thrill rides and attractions based on films and franchises like Rio, Ice Age, Life of Pi, Night at the Museum, Alien vs. Predator, and Titanic.
