The Dominic Old Scholars Association Football Club is an Australian Rules Football team currently based in North Hobart Tasmania.
The Southern Districts Football Club (also known as the Southern Cats) was an Australian rules football club based in North Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.
During 2004 there has also been discussions about a proposal for a tourist tram from Sullivans Cove to the CBD, and possibly to North Hobart.

St John the Baptist's West Hobart and Holy Trinity, North Hobart were sold, with the sale of the historic Holy Trinity church being particularly controversial and leading to protests (particularly as the church building, supposedly condemned as unsafe, was then used by the Greek Orthodox Church).
