Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital was founded in 1971 as the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Hospital, in the West End of Boston, behind North Station.
It can be used to pass freely between these two major transfer stations without boarding a Red Line train, and is therefore a means of transfer between the Green and Orange lines (this type of connection is also possible at Haymarket and North Station).

Carrión has helped to bring in funding to improve other parts of the community, including $65 million to be invested in restoration of the pedestrian Highbridge, the oldest bridge in New York City which connects the Bronx to Manhattan, and $91 million to be invested in constructing a new Metro-North Station at the new Yankee Stadium.
A shuttle train was put into service to run about every 20 minutes between New Haven and Bridgeport as well as an express bus shuttle service from Bridgeport to Stamford, and regular train connections to Grand Central Terminal.

Great Bridge North Station was situated on the South Staffordshire Line between Walsall and Stourbridge, which closed to passengers in the 1960s but remained open for goods trains until the Walsall - Round Oak section was closed in 1993.
Liangxiang University Town North Station is a station on Fangshan Line of the Beijing Subway.
MSP Angela Constance said "The situation of train services in and around Livingston is desperate. The worst example is that no trains have left Livingston North station in the past 10 days".
A future extension of the line will start from Lukou New City North Station (禄口新城北站; the 6th station, counting from Nanjing South Railway Station), and extend further south, to Gaochun District, for the total length of 85.8 km.
