Chambers made his debut for the England national under-16 team against Wales in the 2005 Victory Shield on 14 October 2005, scoring the third goal in a 4–0 victory.
In 2005, the team made their debut in the annual Montaigu Tournament, held in Montaigu, France.
He also represented India at under-16, under-23 and full international level, playing at the President's Cup.
