A translation, Les Vingt et Une Epistres d'Ovide, was made of this work at the end of the 15th century by the French poet Octavien de Saint-Gelais, who later became Bishop of Angoulême.
Her debut solo record, "Dirty Chemistry" was produced by songwriters Christopher Ward and Fred St-Gelais, who have worked with artists such as Alannah Myles, Amanda Marshall, and Randy Bachman, and who have also been working with Alexz Johnson on the music for Instant Star.
A brief poem by the French Humanist Mellin de Saint-Gelais written in 1525 describes Francisco I, Pope Clement VII and Charles V (each involved in a struggle for the possession of Italy) playing a hand of "Prime" (a game similar to Primero and to the "Flux").
