Byron Price (1891–1981) was director of the U.S. Office of Censorship during World War II.
During the latter part of World War II, Knight took a leave from the newspaper business, serving as Director of the US Office of Censorship, in London.
It maintained liaisons with the US Censorship Office, British Imperial Censorship and French Censorship.
