Members Marvin Gunn and Tony Christian, also known as Mark DeShazer, formed the musical duo The Wild Pair and recorded a 1989 song with Paula Abdul, "Opposites Attract", for which they voiced the animated MC Skat Kat in the video.
On June 30, 2013, Fields performed the song Opposites Attract at the 2013 BET Awards.
The album featured production work by Glen Ballard, Walter Afanasieff, Oliver Leiber (the producer responsible for Paula Abdul's hit singles "Opposites Attract", "Forever Your Girl" and "(It's Just) The Way That You Love Me"), and Michael Sembello and among others.
