The Netflix television series Orange Is The New Black is based on the memoir of former inmate Piper Kerman and takes place in a prison based on FCI Danbury.
She later played Dagny Taggart in Atlas Shrugged: Part I (2011), Beth Green in The Lucky One (2012); and Piper Chapman in the Netflix original series, Orange is the New Black (2013–present).
