The EP was included as a pre-order bonus to Oberst's second solo album, Outer South, by iTunes in May 2009.
On May 5 Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band released their second album Outer South - in which Boesel wrote and sings lead for two tracks.
He has also participated with Oberst's back-up band, the Mystic Valley Band, performing two of his own songs on their new album Outer South.
