The Federation received recognition and was affiliated to the Pakistan Olympic Association and the International Volleyball Federation the same year.

The Pakistan Olympic Association was established in 1948 and from the same year it began to organize the National Games of Pakistan.
In near future PCKF will be affiliated with Pakistan Olympic Association POA according to its own constitution as non-profit earning sports organization in Pakistan.It is headquartered in HDWSA Hanna Lake Quetta Balochistan and administers all aspects of canoe kayak sport in the country.
