In May 2008 he again successfully defended his title, and thus broke Etchebaster's record, against US pro Camden Riviere on the historic court at Fontainebleau Palace, France, winning 7 sets to 5 (6/1 3/6 5/6 6/4, 6/2 6/3 5/6 6/0, 6/1 2/6 1/6 6/5).


Catharina of Württemberg

She was Jérôme Bonaparte's second wife, married on 22 August 1807 in the Royal Palace of Fontainebleau, France.

Charles Percier

They also worked at Josephine's Château de Malmaison, at the Château de Montgobert for Pauline Bonaparte, and did alterations and decorations for former Bourbon palaces or castles at Compiègne, Saint-Cloud, and Fontainebleau.

Strapwork

Strapwork was found earlier, but really came to prominence after it was used in stucco in the enormous elaborate decorative frames designed by Rosso Fiorentino for the Palace of Fontainebleau in the 1530s.
