The community is home to 4 schools ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade, which include Desert Trails Elementary School, Explorer Middle School, Paradise Valley High School and Pinnacle High School.
PVCC was originally founded by the Maricopa County Community College District as the Northeast Valley Education Center in 1985 with classes temporarily held at Paradise Valley High School.
