1974 Summit Series

Playing on both the 1972 and 1974 teams for Canada were Paul Henderson, Frank Mahovlich and Pat Stapleton.

Gerry McCarthy

McCarthy held several ministries in Paul Henderson's cabinet: on 9 February 2009 he joined the cabinet as Minister for Transport and Minister for Correctional Services.


Birmingham Bulls

Although Bassett failed to sign Gretzky, the Bulls included several future NHL stars at the beginning of their professional careers (Rick Vaive, Michel Goulet, Rob Ramage, Pat Riggin, Craig Hartsburg, and Gaston Gingras), as well as a 36-year-old Paul Henderson.
