Floyd Landis had 175 points before the UCI removed his name from the standings following his removal from the Phonak team.
Due to the Floyd Landis doping case of the 2006 Tour de France, Phonak withdrew their sponsorship of the team and it hence folded.
In 2004, after his brother's retirement, he followed Tyler Hamilton to Phonak.
In October 2004 he joined Phonak, together with Miguel Ángel Martín Perdiguero from Saunier Duval, and Víctor Hugo Peña and Floyd Landis from Discovery Channel-Berry Floor.
On October 2, 2006, the Phonak Group agreed to a share-purchase agreement with GN ReSound in an acquisition worth a total of $2.65 billion.
