The Lassen Cutoff continued to Goose Lake in northeastern California, and then followed the Pit River into California's Central Valley.
Pit-3 Dam (also known as Pit Number Three Dam and Dam Number Three) is a dam across the Pit River in northern California in the United States.
It is still common as far north as the Pit River, although it has mostly disappeared from the San Joaquin basin.
