The Purdue Big Bass Drum is a percussion instrument played by the All-American Marching Band of Purdue University.
According to the National Association for Music Education, costs associated with the band are underwritten by several corporate sponsors, such as Jupiter Band Instruments, in addition to the United States Army Recruiting Command.

First organized in 2007, it is neither an active, nor reserve component band and its performances are limited to events during and preceding the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas, including the halftime show of that event.
