Abuse scandal in the Sisters of Mercy

In 1996 Dear Daughter, a documentary looking at abuse allegations at St. Vincent's Industrial School, Goldenbridge, Ireland, which was run by the Sisters of Mercy, was screened on RTÉ Television.


Brendan O'Carroll's Hot Milk and Pepper

Brendan O'Carroll's Hot Milk and Pepper was an RTÉ television quiz show show presented by Brendan O'Carroll and also starring Gerry Browne that was broadcast for two series between 1996 and 1998.

Mount Leinster

It was one of the original five main Telefís Éireann television transmitters, opening on the 12 June 1963 with a 625-line service on Channel F. VHF FM radio transmission was added in 1966, with UHF television starting in 1996.

Shay Healy
