Lt-Colonel Ahmadu G. Hussaini was a Nigerian soldier who was Military Administrator of Adamawa State between August 1998 and May 1999 during the transitional regime of General Abdulsalami Abubakar, handing over to the elected civilian governor Boni Haruna at the start of the Nigerian Fourth Republic.
After many successful years with the Beermen, he was traded to the Express along with Dondon Hontiveros, Paul Artadi and Danny Seigle for Nonoy Baclao, Rey Guevarra and Rabeh Al-Hussaini.
The village is named after the Muslim Peer Baba Hussainiwala ji (Saint Hussaini wala or Saint "who is of Husain"), whose tomb is in the Border Security Force headquarters at Hussainiwala.
Hussaini received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in mathematics and physics from the University of Madras, India, and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley in 1970.
Nevertheless he was equally good as a master of other genres like Thuluth, Naskh, Diwani, Riqa and Kufic.
