Doonie Baby, Big Lurch, and Rick Rock met at Slop Shop Studios in the San Francisco Bay area and formed Cosmic Slop Shop, condensing the studio's name with Cosmic Slop, the 1973 album by Funkadelic.
It features Dr. Dre, is produced by Rick Rock and samples a portion of Johann Sebastian Bach's "Brandenburg Concerto No. 3".
The album does however feature production by Bay Area producers Rick Rock, E-A-Ski and Traxamillion.
